Planned coverage begins in Cartagena and Medellín. Within each city, service will be organized by density: central zones will receive priority and distant or island zones will be scheduled around logistics.
Priority service for the areas with the highest concentration of properties and recurring demand.
Scheduled coverage based on distance, request density and team availability.
Service is quoted considering transport, travel time, materials and team needs.
Wear is different on the coast: salt-air corrosion, mould, overworked air conditioning and balcony seals.
The zone with the highest density of apartments, short-term rentals and owners who live outside the city.
Urban coverage with the same working structure: classification, service window and documented closeout.
Scheduled service based on distance, request density and team availability.
In Medellín the issue isn't salt air: it's rainfall, damp in walls, ventilation and leaks in roofs and terraces.
For a specific problem that needs professional attention.
For properties that need prevention and follow-up.
For owners and operators who need local representation.
Our first practical resource helps short-term rental operators inspect, prioritise and document failures in Cartagena's coastal climate.
Exact terms depend on the type of work, the zone and operational availability.
From launch, TALOA plans to coordinate plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, painting, waterproofing, deep cleaning, locksmithing, handyman and general repairs. It can also organize recurring maintenance, preventive inspections and support for Airbnbs, hotels, buildings, businesses and absent owners.
From launch, requests will be classified by urgency, type of failure, location and availability. An active leak, an electrical risk or an issue affecting a guest will receive priority treatment. Response time will depend on verified coverage and capacity at that moment.
Some services will require a visit to identify the cause and quote correctly. If a diagnostic fee applies, it will be communicated before scheduling. Depending on the service, that fee may be credited toward approved work.
The North Zone and the Vía al Mar corridor are part of TALOA’s planned launch coverage, subject to verified capacity, travel and logistics.
Barú and the Rosario Islands are part of planned scheduled coverage. These zones will require transport, materials planning and special coordination.
From launch, TALOA plans to support failures before check-in, corrective work during stays, smart locks, air conditioning, plumbing, painting, cleaning and maintenance between bookings.
Yes. The website opens in Spanish by default but can be switched to English. If a client writes on WhatsApp in English, the conversation can continue in English — especially useful for expats and foreign owners.
It depends on the service. Some jobs may be quoted with materials included; others will need a diagnosis first. TALOA will explain the scope, the materials and any change before executing.
The warranty will be defined by the type of work. It will normally cover the workmanship or the specific corrective performed, not any unrelated future failure. Terms will be made clear before work and at service closeout.
Care Plans are planned for launch for properties that need inspections, preventive maintenance, priority and follow-up. Final inclusions and terms will be published before activation.
Medellín and the southern Aburrá Valley are planned for the January 2027 launch, subject to verified local operating capacity.
Send the exact location, a short description, photos or video and any important detail: whether there are guests, any risk, restricted access or a time limit.
The process, standards and communication are the same. What changes is the most frequent type of failure: in Cartagena, salt air, coastal humidity and high-turnover air conditioning dominate; in Medellín, rain-driven leaks, damp walls and ventilation dominate. Teams, timings and rates are defined per city and per zone.
We are meeting owners, operators and service professionals before launch. Share the location and type of need so it can inform our operating map.
